I just pre-ordered my copy for the Italian Job Gift set to be released in the US on October 7th, 2003.

the Gift set includes a DVD copy of the original 1969 movie and a DVD of the 2003 release.

All for $32.99 which is not bad at all.

I saw that on Amazon.com a few weeks ago when the release date came out but they didn't have any details on it. That's great news. I was hoping it would be both of them.

With any luck, they won't do that with the In-Laws. Buying the new In-Laws to get the old one is like getting stuck with Godfather III when you buy the box set.

Hmm. That's cool, but I don't think I really need to see the new one again. Hopefully this is one step closer to being able to buy the original on its own.

They're both being released for individual sale on the same day so you don't need to buy the new version.
