Having had the DRL on my '08 MCS originally on then shutting them off via the OBC I have since turned them back on for safety reasons.Now for some reason I never noticed that the driving lights were also on when the DRL are active until I saw a reflection in a store front window.Is that normal for both the DRL and the driving lights to be on? If not is there a way to turn off the driving lights through the OBC and keep the DRL still active? I ask because I could not find that in the owners manual.

Are you referring to the fog lights mounted in the bumper? If so, if you look closely at them you'll see that the top part of the fog light housing has a separate bulb. Those are the parking lights and those will be on with DRLs or any other time the headlights are on. The lower, larger part of the fog light housing (the actual fog light itself) shouldn't come on unless you activate them with the switch.
