Support from the Heart of Georgia Car Show
Support from the Heart of Georgia Car Show
Just wanted to let everyone know of the 2nd Annual "Support from the Heart of Georgia Car Show" this coming Saturday, May 17th. Registration begins at 8:30-10:30 AM, with judging from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM. All procedes go to sending care packages to our deployed men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This is a great community-oriented activity and will be a lot of fun. Our monthly meeting will follow the car show and we will meet at the Starbuck's on Watson across from Wal-Mart.

Support from the Heart of Georgia Car Show Recap:
Check out http://www.middlegeorgiaminis.com/gallery.html for the pictures. We had 6 MINIs enter the show, 1 Morris Minor, & another MINI that dropped by to check things out. BluCoopr from the M2C2 group came all the way down from Charlotte to join the group. And Qwkslvr from Coastal MINIs came all the way from Savannah to show their support. Thank you guys from coming! It was so very fun.
BluCoopr received a couple of trophies, Cassie received a trophy, the club received a trophy for the most participation from a group, & we all walked away with a door prize! Afterwards we cooled off with frothy drinks from Starbucks for our monthly meeting & had a couple of more MINIs join in the festivities. We ended the day at Cracker Barrel & a couple of owners riding off with mods in mind.
Thank you guys again for your participation!
