Did you use two spaces?
If so, this type behavior has already been covered in a previos thread.

You're lucky you had a note and not a keyed car, or deflated tire.

Let's all remind ourselves we drive a BMW parts bin car, not a Ferrari Scaglietti.

Not a compliment at all. You'll end up vandalized, or having to crawl through the back to get in. I've parked so close to people before that they either couldn't get out, or had to crawl around from the other side.

Don't you worried about getting keyed or dinged, parking so close? I know it's the other person's fault (they should have parked correctly) but people who park like that aren't necessarily into logical thinking and fairness.

I leave a different note under the wiper- "Sorry about the dent"

And no, I don't leave a mark on the car. I agree that someone else may. Too risky to take up two spaces. (Especially since you said it's around a place where people are drinking!)

What more proof do you need. You should take it as a compliment!

to my defense, I park in that lot often and it never fills up. I stayed a little later than i usually do and was suprised to find the lot full. I guess I was lucky not to have my car damaged.

Seriously though ... although I don't have the guts to ever straddle a line and take up two spaces, I almost always look for someplace in a parking lot where my MINI will be all by itself. I don't want to invite even accidental trouble.

Is this kind of invective necessary? It makes it seem like one of those 'ricer' sites. A little more maturity might not be out of place.

I think what you did is fine -- so long as you're paying the paylot for 2 spots.

Don't listen to all the haters. That is a total complement! Every time I take up twice as much space for my tiny little car people give me all kinds of great remarks!

I'd leave note too: "learn how to park"
