the checkerboard roof i think on the roof is good looking
i like the option of being able to have the checkerboard roof applied and to also take it off at times. i found a web site that sells magnetic rectangles (black) that could go on a white top to make a checkerboard but it is not designed for the glass part. would it look bad to have the border checkerboard but not the glass parts.
or any way to get those magnetic parts to stick to glass part.
or cover glass with vinyl.. but i would want it be re-usable that i could take off and on.
pictures of that roof i mentioned are at http://www.mini-stuff.com
thanks

I agree with you on the great look the checkerboad wouid make on the SR. My MC(mine in October) is jet blk, wht roof with SR. I am on the trail of vinl applications that may be removable, but will take further reseach and visits to local craft stores & rundown of postings in here and elsewhere on same subject. Good luck, and I will let you know what I find.

you may want to do a search on "magnetic." There have been a lot of complaints of the magnetic roof decals flying off and discoloring the paint.
