Dawn's latest MOD: tinted glass!

I had Solar Solutions do my windows at MOTD this year - well worth every minute of the wait since last year. Best of all - he only charged me $100 and the install is 0% bubbled or warped - real quality work. I also put on purple spark plug wires while I was down there, but have no photo of them yet ((hangs head in shame))...

'Ere you go:

Thanks man!

Interesting factiod: Kara's in the passenger seat, laying across the seats so she doesn't show in the pic.

She had a ball... Got a bit rambunctious at the Midnight run, what with all those hot-rodded MCS's around, but we managed the twisties just fine. KARA however found it very difficult to relax, and was white-knuckling it every time I took a corner over 20MPH - poor baby. Thank God she didn't go with me for the Midnight run - even at the relatively sane speeds everyone was doing I think she would have passed out....

Looking good. The purple looks really good with the darker windows.

This is one mod I have really been up in the air about. I looked for convertibles with tint while I was there - didn't see Dawn after the install, I guess. More pics, top up & down would be great. I wonder if it makes as big a difference (in reducing interior heat) in convertibles as it does in hardtops.

I had it done at 9:00AM on SUNDAY so it's no wonder you didn't see it.

I definitely notice a difference with the windows up on sunnny days - not that I have the windows down generally. Darker would help more, of course. I also seldom if ever run with the top down but the windows up, but I can shoot a pic that way if you like....

Yeah, that would be great, because I've discovered that with a hooded sweatshirt, I'm comfortable down to the upper 40s with the windows up.

Have my convert done too. And of course the top was down most of the time it was parked at Fontana so you'd never spot it. I had my top replaced under warrenty a year ago and never had the rear window retinted. I don't miss it on the rear.
