I am leaving Tuesday night and going to stay over either in Carlisle, Pa. or Winchester, Va. Which ever one I make it to by 11:00 PM. Leaving around 6:00 in the morning. That should make Fontana by mid afternoon.

If I leave from Carlisle I guess I will miss breakfast, if I make it to Winchester I will have time for an extra cup of coffee.

I live Wilmington Delaware around 5:30 am in the morning
and i will be around woodstock I 81 at 8 to 8:30 am.

From DE I 95 south to I 70 on baltimore to 340 to 7 to I 81 in winchester
we took this route before as long we get by baltimore before or after rush hour we will be ok

 

Went that way last year and did OK. This year I was going out the PA pike to 81. I am only 10 minutes from the Turnpike bridge and then it's 75-80 all the way.

I like to leave the night before because the 12-13 hours in one shot is a killer. I leave around 7:00 and will be in Winchester by 10:30-11:00.
