Does bumper to bumper warranty cover this or insurance?

 

Depends on why it happened. If it's a rock chip, the warranty won't cover it. Your insurance may - the comprehensive WILL, but if you have a deductible over $50 it won't be worth it, cuz that's about what it will cost out-of-pocket to repair it.

 

If there is not a crack and only a chip, some insurance companies will "fill" the chip to keep it from spreading and to save you some $$$. I know our insurance company - USAA - does it for free. Check with yours and see what they say..
