Anyone have a ship go missing?

My Clubbie is on the Don Juan and it was slated to Halifax, Nova Scotia on the 10th... yet it's last update was on the 9th via http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/index.html

it's due in Panama on the 15th and Port Hueneme on the 23rd. I just find it odd that it's position was being updated about every 6 hrs until it reached Nova Scotia.

I'd say you were fortunate to even have your ship's location updated on sailwx.info that often!

From my limited point of view, I'd choose the W&W site for ship info as a more dependable point of reference. What do they say about the Don Juan now?

(The idea of pirates taking over a ship of MINIs is an idea for an ad. )

Perhaps it went on the rocks in a fog and at this moment real drama is unfolding.

I remember reading someplace that they stop tracking when they're within 200 miles of the coast, or out of international waters....???

The Maersk Wave was checking in on a regular basis, untill the 9th of april.. it did go through the canal on the 10th according to the canal schedule report. Its date to Port Hueneme has changed 2 times.. orig the 16th, then the 21st, now the 18th... aaarrgggg.. It left Southampton a week before Don Juan
