VIS Carbon Fiber front lip

I was surfing last weekend and found the VIS CF front lip. I did some more surfing and found one at a crazy price so I bought it. Any one have one of these. It arrived today and looks really nice. Very well made.

I was thinking of putting it on here soon as I need to paint the front bumper and hood and would then install it. Our...... I might sale it because the deal i got was so good I could definitely make some money on it. Yes i'm a greedy bastard.

What do guys think of it??

pretty cool!

Nice Longboard! I'd have to see what it looked like on the car though. May look a little too "import tuner"...

Cool....seems to be a replica(like most VIS stuff) of the Hamann Cooper lip. You sure it fits the MCS bumper? My guess is that the grille lines won't line up.

If you decide to sell it let me know what you want for it, I'm looking for something for the front, but I was leaning towards something that might actually create some functional downforce.

Edit: I wonder if it would even work on my Aero Bumper... hmm

More CF I am guessing I need this. Do they have an application for the Aero?

I want to see what it will look like with my front splitter under it. Until I take off my front splitter i can't hold it up to the front of the car. I will look for a pick to put up.

Nick, I got this at a crazy price. If you really want one let me know. I might be able to get another.

It fits just like your pick. It makes the front about 3" lower then stock.

Because my car is black CF work's and doesn't look "import tuner". Besides that I see a lot CF stuff on BMW's here in So Cal.

Here is a pic in non-carbon on a cooper. Now imagine it with a splitter added.

Right....but the pic posted is a stock Cooper bumper. The grille on the cooper isn't as wide as the grille on the Cooper S. Will this one fit on the MCS bumper? It seems like the grille shape on the lip won't line up on the MCS if it's the same as the one I posted.

If VIS racing went ahead and extended the grille shape on the replica lip...then ignore what I said. I just know the hamann one won't fit on an MCS...only an MC(pre-facelift). I was just curious

If you can fit a diffusor under that big lip....you should probably think about lowering your car

You could be right. I couldn't bring it home because I had a car load of kids so I won't know until Monday.

If it doesn't it's up for sale for sure. Like I said I got real cheap.

Now I remember why I didn't quite like this lip. It doesn't flow well on the ends near the trim. If it were made out of polyurethane or something, and could be molded into the original bumper, that'd be a different story, but until then, it gets an egh in my book...

Yeah I think on a black or dark silver MINI it would look good. (After seeing the pics.) And yeah, I see a lot of CF on BMWs around West LA as well. Usually splitters...
