Not to seem rude, but don't you think if there was a chip for $10 that increased HP by 50 and gave you 15 MPG (I only get about 18 now) that it'd be a little more well known? I mean... it's somewhat naive to think that something like that could actually work. Some of us have spent $10k on 50 HP .

It's also worth mentioning that even if someone could design and build a chip that interfaced with the ECU for $10, what they're claiming to do (tune the car to stoichiometric) would cause any MINI Cooper S engine to blow. Forced Induction engines can't run at stoichiometric because the intake charges would be so hot it would begin to melt engine components.

 

It's BS, don't bother. It's either a resistor that changes what the air temp sensor sees or what the TPS reads from the gas pedal. It's a waste of $10. Hell, its a waste of the few dollars for shipping.
