Does anyone have any pics of a BRG MINI with a JCW kit and painted arches? I actually ordered this from my dealer and my MA actually recommended not painting the wheel arches because it didn't look good to him for the price ($1300- $1500). I've seen a lot of pics of BRG MINIs with the JCW kit but none with painted arches.

 

$1300 - $1500 just to paint the arches? You mad? Way over at Way Motor Works will do you a brand new set in whatever colour you want for $500 and Paul at minspeed.net will do it for a full hundred less at $400!

 

Yeah, I think that's why my MA was advising against it. But if the price is right, would it look good in a BRG MINI?

 

I don't see why not although I think I've only seen the painted arches on black, red, yellow, laser blue and white.

 

Its just my personal preference, but I don't like the way painted arches look with the JCW kit. I've only seen a MY and a CR with painted arches and the JCW kit though, no BRG yet.

 

I'm betting it looks just fine on black .

 

Does anybody know of a good place to get my arches painted in the South Bay/Los Angeles area?

 

has anyone bought the full painted black trim pieces from minspeed? i see on their site they can do the whole kit for $950 which is a lot cheaper then what i got quoted on at 2 body shops here in the bay area. does anyone know how good is the paint and how many coats they put on? or does anyone here know of a good body shop that can do it for the same price.
