100,000 miles in 40 months!

Yesterday was the first absolutely beautiful day since, well, last September sometime. We had a nice West Michigan drive set up with about 9 cars and everything aligned so that I was able to hit the 100K milestone on the drive! The car was delivered on December 11, 2004 so it comes out to almost exactly 2500 miles a month.

Doesn't look to bad for 100,000 huh? He got new wheels for the occasion.

How to get funny looks from people outside a restaurant:

Thanks everyone!

The only thing that could be considered a problem is two failed hydraulic engine mounts. Sparky has never let me down or failed to get me where I was going. Never been in a shop overnight, but has spent some air time on the Detroit Tuned jackstands!

New brake pads at 70,000 miles and I'm on my third set of tires plus a set of snows on steel wheels that have about 20K on them.

I got one of of the good ones I guess. Looking forward to the next 100,000!

Great news!

That's awesome!!! and no major repairs required thats even better.

That makes me feel better since I use mine as my primary vehicle.

I purchased mine in september 07 with 61K and now I have 74K and the car runs and rides awesome. Engine and clutch still feel strong and I get ~ 35mpg using 91 octane gas.

I traded in my 2000 durango and I was a bit nervous about down sizing(not missing the gas $) and I haven't looked back. My next mini will be a clubman!

Way to go...
