Will a stock 07/08 out perfrom my 231.5 whp S

I was talking with Waylan of Way motorworks and he is more that insistent that a stock 07/08 turbo will out perform my car..... sos much so that he wants to "go" right now. (he does not own one) When i drove the 07 I was less than thrilled with the performance even though it did out perform tthe 02-06 stock. the short gearbox and the TQ may be too much for my old gearbox to overcome... I really don't know.

The SpiderX has been sold and the new owner will be coming to GA to get it next week. I am trying to decide on/if a new ride.....

I looked at the Elise but with a built in $.33 per mile for oil alone the cost of fun seems very high.

Anyway I am curious about this performance claim....

In a straight line? I really doubt it.

This is off topic, but, I thought you sold SpiderX because you didn't use it enough. Now you are looking at an Elise? They are even more limited on use. But, that "Club Racer" is sure cool .
