Any suggestions for a good place in the Monmouth County area?

 

I did my own last summer in my garage.

 

Great shop in Burlington County. Did mine 5%, look great.

 

NJMC40-looks really nice. Unfortunately I don't trust myself to do a flawless job.

roadrage-5%? What's the legal limit in NJ?

 

I'm in the Military, run Ohio Plates, so they leave me alone! lol

Jersey I believe is 0% on drivers/pass side windows. From what I heard, won't even inspect your car with window tint.

This guy is awsome, do any shade you want. Mine is black, but looks awsome

 

Very tru on the inspection part as soon as they see the tint they will fail in NJ. On my last car I had the lightest possible tint couldn't even notice in the day time they took a look at the glass and saw the tinit and FAIL

 

There is Auto Image & Security in Freehold. Its on Rt 9 North. I have been dealing with them for a long time. I used to go to the one in E Brunswick but they opened that one and I started going there. You can tint all you want on the rear windows. Fronts and Dash are only allowed factory tint. Nothing else.

I must say, after years of harrassment and getting pulled over for no reason at all other than tint, i stopped doing it. cops pull you over for tint cause in alot of cases its a young person and it will be an easy ticket for them to write. cause chances are you wont fight it. and inspection is a real pain. my last car, i went to a place, he looked at the tint and said he would pass it for 250 with only 1 year inspection. i ended up pulling it off the fronts, passed it free at the inspection center, and then spent another 150 to have the fronts retinted. its more hassel than its worth.

 

Anyone know of a tint shop that uses ceramic tint in central NJ area.

 

Huper Optik.... but the installer is in NYC (Art of Tint)

Formula One tint (Pinnacle series), but the closest is VA (LA Tint). There is no Llumar equivalent.
