Honk, on the Dragon!!
It's a law!!
55-8-166. Driving on mountain highways. —
The driver of a motor vehicle traveling on mountain highways shall hold such motor vehicle under control and as near the right-hand edge of the highway as reasonably possible and, upon approaching any curve where the view is obstructed within a distance of two hundred feet (200¢) along the highway, shall give audible warning with the horn of such motor vehicle.
[Acts 1955, ch. 329, § 66; T.C.A., § 59-867.]

Don't wait for enforcement, be safe, start Honking right away, only in TN, NC does not seem to have such a law.
I think it was during the return of the parade in '06 that something caused everyone to come to a complete standstill for about a half minute. A cluster of us started blowing horns, yelling and waving fists as if in NYC traffic, and it started moving like a wave along the few dozen stopped cars. I laughed my *** off, as did most of the participants. Who knew being stuck in traffic would be so much fun. It was not the "Dragon Jam" I had anticipated.

Hot Dang.... me and Aaron are gonna have some BIG FUN (I just installed the same horn).... I'm printing out the TN code and carrying a copy. Because I WILL get pulled over if I honk near a TN trooper... guaranteed.
Of course, I also found this:
55-9-201 Horn
(a) Every motor vehicle, when operated upon any road, street or highway of Tennessee, shall be equipped with a horn in good working order capable of emitting sound audible under normal conditions from a distance of not less than two hundred feet (200'), and it is unlawful, except as otherwise provided in this section, for any vehicle to be equipped with or for any person to use upon a vehicle any siren, exhaust, compression or spark plug whistle or for any person at any time to use a horn otherwise than as a reasonable warning or to make any unnecessary or unreasonably loud or harsh sound by means of a horn or other warning device.

I think you're just asking for trouble. They'll just write you a ticket, even though you would have a copy of the code (which they will say they cannot verify as accurate) and tell you to take it up in court and have them intrepret the law. Their intrepretation would be that you were being a noisy jerk.
Can I ride shotgun?

Yep, they'd get you with:
it is unlawful... for any person at any time to use a horn otherwise than as a reasonable warning or to make any unnecessary or unreasonably loud or harsh sound by means of a horn or other warning device.
So, they'll say, you should blow your horn, but not your HORN!

Yep! It's a full custom install of a quad air-horn setup, powered by a paintball CO2 canister. All the details (and links to more video) are on the link that BC posted, above.

I'll uhh, keep my thoughts to myself
and Aaron's horn is pretty loud, it scared the heck out of me at our monthly meeting, especially since i didn't know it was coming.

The best part was driving to the club meeting... someone from the club saw me on the road on the way in and gave me the "honk your horn" signal that little kids give to truckers while on road trips!
They better hope they don't stick their head under my car looking for it... or I WILL get cuffed and taken away for assaulting an officer, because I'm pushing the button... I WILL NOT be able to resist becoming a part of eternal Dragon lore...
