Well, my 3/36k warranty is almost upon me for my '05 MCS, and my 5/50k is not far away so, besides also contemplating adding another year onto my warranty, I've started thinking about the day when I don't take my car to MINI of Sterling for repairs :/

Can anyone recommend any reputable non-dealer MINI repair shops in the NoVA area at this time? Or will I be stuck with dealer only visits for the remainder of time with my car?

Or can anyone recommend any non-dealer installers for after market parts?

P.S. I've thought about this in the past, and maybe someone has brought this up already, but does anyone think I could go to a BMW only dealer for minor repairs?

 

I haven't tried them yet, but I will be trying out Funktion Auto (www.funktionauto.com) in Sterling, VA. They're on the NAM vendor list. Greg

 

Haven't used them, but when we were in NOVA, had a recommendation to have hubby's Elise serviced there. For what it's worth.
