Ok, I got the cupholder. You know the big one thats standard equipment now. However the metal part seems to be longer then the alloted space on the back of the plastic mounting plate. So, do I drill out the plastic wall so that the metal fits properly or am I missing the secret decoder ring?

 

Have any pictures? It would be easier for me to answer the question if I could actually see what the issue is.
