Clearbra for Aero kit bumper...

I have searched the Xpel & AutoPaintGuard websites, but I cannot locate the kit for the Aero Bumper protection...am I blind or ???

EDIT: I am blind! I found it on the AutoPaintGuard website...but I still don't know how long I have to wait after the painting to have it installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, how soon after painting can the product be installed?

Thanks!

Erika

It depends. If the paint was heat cured at temps like the factory uses, then you could wax in a week. If not, then wait one to three months depending on the paint before waxing. The warmer the temperature is where you live, the less time you have to wait. If the paint is nothing fancy, like multiple candy layers, you are probably OK in one month. You should be able to wash painted parts within a couple of days using low pressure water supply.

You can check with your painter and/or paint manufacturer, if you want to obtain info straight from the horse's mouth.

The bumper, bonnet & all trim pieces (the black plastic pieces) are being painted at the collision center in the next week or so...

I don't recall seeing a heat-curing setup, so it's probably an air-dry process.

I wasn't asking about waxing; I was asking about installing Clearbra protection to protect against rock chips. I'm headed to MOTD and I would REALLY like to have it installed before I leave...if it won't mess up the paint, that is!
