What is it called
What is it called when you duct tape the button of the e-brake down, so that as soon as you release the handle, your e-brakes disengage?

(Other than stupid)

I don't think it has a specific name. A lot of rally cars and drifters have modifications like this so that they can engage the rear brakes only to help in inducing a slide.

why not try a maxwell house coffee can muffler or film negatives as window tint

yeah, that's where I just saw it (Fifth gear--Mini cooper S versus a Clio Cup)...Figured I'd come here and ask you guys if you'd ever heard of it before.

not sure of any term for it but also saw it in this clip....oh and not speaking from experience but dsc must be off!!!

Why would the dsc have to be turned off?

Tiff called it a "fly off handbrake" on last weeks episode of Fifth Gear. I'm assuming you watched that part with the Mini JCW vs the Clio Cup (Clio won btw).
