Hi ,
I am looking at a used 2005 S , It has cloth seats . Is there any after market vendors that sell seats .
It is a real turn off for me to buy this car with Cloth seats . Would prefer the leatherette Sport seat.

Are there any solutions . Anyone have a idea if Mini sells the seats . What would they cost? Thanks

 

It would probably be cheaper to buy aftermarket seats rather than the factory seats from MINI, possibly someone would want to trade you seats if you post up some pictures.

Also, although it's still technically cloth, Wet Okole makes seat covers out of a wet suit material that are suitable for seats with built in airbags.

 

You can try a Katzkin dealer. They have real nice leather options and colors.

 

I think your least expensive option would be to purchase original seat covers from MINI. Classic MINI in Ohio will give you a discount if you mention you are a NAM member. You can find contact info in Vendor information. You could then bring your car or just your seats to a shop that does repair. When you are finished you still have a stock seated MINI and your value will not change.
