My ugly yellow MINI
My ugly yellow MINI
It's pollen time in central Georgia and the the ugly yellow pollen is on every thing. If the cars are parked outside for over fifteen minutes there is yellow
haze that settles on them. It even gets on them when their parked in a closed garage, only not as bad. Yellow pollen on dark silver is ulgy

New MINI color ? Yucky Yellow ?
It'll be over in a couple weeks... hang in there. Ours is yet to come.
And it could be worse. One year when I was living in Germany, I left the windows open (as is customary in that country) when I went to work. Came home and pollen season had hit with a vengence.
Everything, and I do mean EVERYthing was covered in a thick layer of yellow. Took me three weeks to clean all the pollen out of my house. Just imagine all the little nooks and crannies in the typical home where pollen can settle. Refrigerator door seal, spines of books, the heating vents... just to name a few.

Yellow Haze
I'll definitely be glad when it's over, this pollen is killing me! I am now living off of allergy medicines and trying to make it through the day. I hope the rain helps knock it down a bit but I am sure it will persist.
Do not...repeat, DO NOT leave the windows down or your sunroof open, the pollen will be all over the inside of your MINI! Man, I even tried using the California Duster on the MINI and in less than an hour it was like I never touched it. Another reason I do not like pine trees.

Beware of an open sunroof

As a convertible owner, pollen or not, I have to abide by the "Open User Agreement". If as a hard top owner you haven't seen this then go to the MINI USA site & try to build a convertible...it's cute!
Shaun, yellow + blue = green. I guess now you have the green MINI you were torn between when you purchased.

Here we go again, the yellow peril is upon us in central Georgia. The yellow haze on the cars and every thing else outside is a PITA. I keep a cover on the Vette as I don't drive it that much but even in the garage the MINI gets covered. YUK!!!
Bet ur going crazy lawmann
I can only the imagine the torture that the only person that details there car at a race track feels when they can't keep nasty yellow pollen off their car.
I just wash once a week...yellow and Hot Choc now there is a combo. Drives the better half crazy though.
Anyway a nasty pollen yellow MINI is still the best looking car road.

I'm going to tag off of Bam-Bam and say it will look better than any other car on the road!
I'm still trying to figure out what good a pine tree is though...between the pollen, pine cones, and ever continuing rain of pine needles!
I have 5 of these things in the yard and I can't wait to get rid of them and replace them with maples!
Cheers-
