Will you be part of the Big Picture this year?
The Panoramic MINI Photo will be taken on Saturday May 2nd at 11am.
Positioning will begin around 10-10:30am.

 

At MOTD 4 I was fortunate to be in the 1st row center and hope to be somewhere close this year. My Texas Flag roof graphic, chili red MINI was a fine center piece for the photo

how does the arrangement get picked? by color? or just first come?

 

I was in the back row for MOTD 2006, but I got a nice side profile of the car instead of just the head on view.

I'm leading a sunrise drive around the Smoky mountains that morning, but we should be back by 10:30-11ish.

 

pretty much it's first come, first row.

For those not familar with the event. It's free to be in the picture. So even if you don't think you are gonna buy a picture, you can come, be in the photo, have a great chance to see a bunch of different MINIs at one time and then you can always change your mind and order a picture later.

Just gotta be carefull of the grass. The TVA is reall touchy abou their grass

That's running at the same time as Dragon Draggin' BUT... we've made arrangements so you can drop off your Dragon Draggin' car, get to the picture, and come back. Your DD car can be raced and run without you, but you may miss one or two door prize drawings. My wife will likely take our mini for the picture - I'm jealous!

 

They were pretty touchy about the pavement too last year. I got yelled at trying to cross the street!

again for the newbies, it's a real short process too. We start parking the cars between 10:00 and 11:00 and at 11:05 we're out of there.

 

Is the picture in your sig from the lower part of Fontana dam?

It is just off the road at the campgrounds.

 

I love that picture, it reminds me of when the dam water hits the slightly warm humid air of the morning creating a slight fog over the water.

To add yourself and be in the picture is absolutely FREE, so don't miss out on this opportunity.
Once the picture has been taken there is no way of changing your mind about buying one with you in it (unless of course you're really good with photoshop).

 

Don't count on ARTSJCW, cause we will be jacked up getting mods, as usual!!!
