In that video, it's the hiss that occurs at 13sec, 48sec, 51sec, 1:03, 1:04..
Is it Supra specific? I think I've only heard that noise around Supras, and definitely not in any MINIs.

 

That is called a Blow Off Valve or Purge Valve. All Turbo charged cars have one. It prevents backpressure from damaging the turbo after the Throttle body closes. They can be Atmospheric or recirculating. That supra just happens to have an HKS SSQV

I have the RFL BOV. It's pretty loud.

No sound clips. I tried to take one before but got too much wind noise and then never got around to it again. It's r.f.l. though for sure . Sounds like my car is sneezing.
