Cornball run

Dont know if this sort of thing would interest anyone but I would be willing to either drive or navigate on such a thing. $50 - $100 depending on date of sign up with 70% becoming 1st place purse.

Think cannonball run with Camera's and not costing $10000

I didn't see any Minis in the video on their website - do we know if any have entered before? I'm thinking it should be quite fun.

Just a heads-up for folks who are interested in this event and have been on the fence -- the registration fee bumps up by $25 on May 15th. If you want to participate and haven't registered, you may want to do so within the next two weeks to save a bit of coin.

The link to the website is in Post #1 but here it is again for convenience:

Happy (and profitable) motoring!

Yup, Talus and I are all registered. We were really pleased to see that our friend that owns a Smart car will also be in the race.

Fantastic!

Well the Cornball Run was a ton of fun! The bad news first - we finished 4th. The good news was that we were only 10 minutes behind the first place winner and that's not too shabby considering the race was almost 4.5 hours long and around 290 miles total.

Can't wait to have a go next year! You can check out the photos on my album.

Thanks for posting the pics Sage! Looks like you covered a lot of ground yesterday. 10 minutes behind the winner is a great finish, and I'll bet your MINI attracted some attention too.

Glad you had a good time...thanks for representing the MINI world in such fine fashion!
