the bumper is fairly easy to remove. There are a few bolts on the bottom (front spoiler), and a bunch of plastic fasters in the wheels wheels. it is easiest if you remove the front wheels, then pry out the plastic fasters with a weed puller. Yes a weed puller makes the perfect tool for removing these fastner.

Two words for you: Bentley Manual
There's no ambiguity in the instructions, and it'll give you details like the proper torque for the crush tube mounting bolts when you reinstall.
You should get one. They're available on Amazon.com. A bit pricey, but well worth the investment IMHO. I think you'll find it coming in handing for many other applications down the road.

bumper cover - working off the top of my head -
2 small bolts in each wheel well that attach the top corners of the cover to the body...one faces fwd and the other goes up, you can see the top of this one at the corner of the cover. These are also your adjustment points. I take these off first. It's a socket with an extension job....removing the wheels helps, but just turning will provide enuf reach
A series of small phillips screws along the bottom edge.....I think seven....
Then reach in a disconnect the turn signal/running lite, side marker and temp sensor....
Last is two large torx you see on the front of the bumper frame.....it should be free now....
You can search for the DIY here about installing the AreoGrill mod. The first steps of that DIY cover removing the bumper cover well, with pictures.
Look for the instructions on this page for installing the lights. This is what I used, and it was pretty easy, no wheels had to come off either or any clips to speak of

Capt_Bj hit it on the head I believe. I've had mine off a couple times. The first time will take you 15 minutes, the second time will take 5.
No clips on my 04 either. Either phillips, torx, or a 10mm if i remember right.
