Can't remember if Automotive Accents on Pleasantburg (between Wade Hampton Blvd. and Rutherford Rd., just behind the cemetary) does tinting or not, but I think they are on the M2C2 preferred vendors list and will give a discount if you mention the club.

I used to buy lots of car audio equipment there when I was in high school, and they were great to work with. My 70 VW bug had 24 speakers, 3 amps, and 2 batteries in it...not sure how I can still hear anything today??

I saw them on the list but a discount isn't as important as how well the job gets done. So anybody use them for tint. I'm guessing they did a good job wuth audio equipment, cmiller18.

Yes, they did excellent work on the audio equipment years ago. I have never tinted any windows in vehicles I've owned, so I can't speak from experience with anyone's tinting work.

Ok Ok, I'll take the recommendation . Thanks for the responses.

I'm just a bit **** when it comes to windows for some reason. I'll call them and see if they can get it done this weekend.

Again, not from personal experience, as I have never had my windows tinted, but I have heard good things about Lightning Mike's and AutoShield Carolinas for tinting. AutoShield Carolinas (formerly known as 2 separate businesses: UltraShield of Charlotte and Carolina Shine) is Steve Treece's shop, and it's on our M2C2 discount list. You can get a 3M clear bra installed or buy your next supply of Zaino detailing products as well, but that's a whole separate discussion. If I were to get mine tinted, I would use Steve's place, as I have always had great service from them, and they warranty their products and installation.

Yeah I'm here now actually. Funny thing they don't seem to really know anything about m2c2. And they don't do sunroofs. I'm a little dissapointed but I'm getting the windows done anyway.

What's the deal with not doing the sunroof (I was wanting mine done too). Did their work turn out nice anyway?

Ok, just picked Ferris back up. The job looks pretty good. They could have gotten a little closer on the back windows in my opinion but over all it looks good. We'll see how I like it in a few days.

Speedstyles did mine in Charlotte, they do not cut the tint it is pre-measured by computor and has a warranty. They will do illegal tint (Darker than the laws limit) but with no warranty. Also when they inspect the car if it is illegal it will not pass. They also honor our club with 10% discount for members.

Thats a good question? Why would you want to tint sunroof? They are already tinted and to make it darker might as well not have one. I don't know but I will tomorrow and will post it.

I want to tint the sunroof to increase the heat rejection/reduce IR transmission through the glass in the summertime. (I don't like heat).
