i have lots of rattling noises in the car. they make me think if it's worth to spend extra money on the car anymore!!!
i hate rattling noise. the problem areas are the front doors, under (maybe, who knows!) right seat, around steering wheel, center dash board.

are those common problem areas in mini? i want to fix them, but i don't know where to start. :???:

As a local MINI club member said on a recent drive,
"You're not really a MINI owner until you've got some nice rattles!"

I would tend to agree.

I don't have any experience with the stuff, but it seems like some people swear by this product called Dynamat. They have a website (www.dynamat.com I think), and/or you could do a search on Dynamat here on MCO.

I would say that you'll get used to the rattles, but I have to admit, there was one *squeak* on my '02 MC that used to drive me nuts! The front passenger seat squeaked like a cheap hotel mattress if it was occupied every time every time I hit a bump...

Good luck!

all cars have some, and some are just one car out of a run off a hundred. i only have one clunk sound that i hear only every now and then, so i am not two worried about it. so you have two options: find them and fix them. bolt them up tight or WD40, or turn the radio up. lol good luck with them.
