15% Alta: Before and After (Dyno Results)

Just had my sc pulley put on last weekend, and yesterday I had the MINI dyno'd again. To date, my only motor mods are alta intake, and pulley. I never had the chance to get baseline stock numbers on the dyno, but a few weeks ago I did get numbers with the alta intake. I was able to get 168hp and 154ft-lb of torque. After the pulley I pulled down 192 hp and 170ft-lb torque. Both dyno runs were done at the same location and same conditions. So, 24hp increase from a pulley? hard to believe, but I can definitely feel the difference. I plan on getting an exhaust next, and going back to the same dyno and posting those results. pics of the results below.

possibly, I had an all-in-one printer, but never used it so I gave it away. I made two runs. so I have two charts, and about 3or 4 pages of plots.

Man, I hope those numbers are correct. I'm putting an ALTA CAI on soon, and a pulley on this summer, hopefully... same mods, and hopefully the same incredible results!!

Did you happen to get Air/Fuel ratios along with the power dyno? That would be interesting to see.

I just bought a pulley from Alta last weekend but haven't installed it yet. This is good information.

Have you considered using cooler temperature spark plugs or remapping the ECU yet?

Not yet. I will be purchasing the new Alta black exhaust in the next few weeks. My plan is to add a mod, get it dyno'd, and add another mod etc. and just track each components improvement, unfortuantely I never got a factory dyno run. A tune and/or injectors will come after the exhaust I figure.

I just had the Alta 15% pulley, Alta CAI, and Jardine cat back exhaust installed. BAT OUT OF HELL baby! Slapped an H sport 25" sway bar on too. See you at the dragon in my '05 BRG/BLK with checkered mirrors. Wave when I blow by!

You should post the video without the music. The car is much more interesting to listen to.

Welllll.....maybe u should have watched for a few more seconds. the music was playing while i was just rolling, or working my way thru the gears. the music fades when I start the actual pull and doesnt come back til the end after the 2nd pull. So both pulls are just the car. not music.

I imagine there are a lot of things that can factor into the numbers. Temperature, elevation, gear, factory hp, etc. however, my car has about 38k miles.
