Best Deal on Genuine OEM Brake Pads

I need to order new brake pads.
Who currently has the Best Deal on Genuine OEM Brake Pads?
I've been looking but they are not easy to find.

is there a reason you want to stick with oem? i've had extremely good experience with EBC pads. they are easy to find, dust less, stop better than stock ever did, and they maintain the wear sensor location. just a thought.

IMHO the EBC pads don't stop any better than stock, but they are cleaner, if you don't mind the visible green puck showing thru your brakes.

Your last two comments are a perfect example of why I want Genuine OEM Pads.
I've read tons of comments on brakes and I have been unable to find any brake pad that everyone agrees is all around better than stock pads.
The stock pads are pretty darn good and hard to beat when using a stock brake system.
Only problem is that I live far away from any dealer so I need to order them and hopefully at a good price.

Classic MINI is a good bet for OEM parts. For everyday street driving the OEM pads work pretty darn good.

Why not just have your closest MINI dealer UPS them out to you?

I'm also pretty happy with the OEM pads.......

Wow! Thanks!
How many miles do you think are on these?
If this is a common thing maybe there should be a sticky topic for brake pad trading.

My apologies - I guess I should have said "you want TO BUY mine?" ...

I AM a nice guy... but I'm not THAT nice... usually... but thanks greengoblin for brokering the give-away.

But I'd let them go for WAY less than a new set... and they're practically new...

Me - slightly used, cost of shipping from 01742 Only the front set - off an 06 MCS, less than 2k miles

UPDATE - they're gone!

Hey! those were for me!
lol - No problem MsJulie.
I'm getting Paul's used set.
I still wouldn't mind having a backup set though.

Thanks for the links Paul!
And thanks for shipping so quickly.
I got them in yesterday and they look great!
Actually they look like they are hardly used at all.
You must have "I BRAKE FOR NOTHING!" on your bumper sticker -

Well, they WERE dirty, 'till I cleaned them up for you...

Yeah, I have a bad reputation in my club for being a "momentum" driver on the twisties... it's not about how fast you go in the straights, it's about how much speed you can hold in the corners.... or at least that's the way I do it... the guys behind me hate it...

My shop uses a brand called Akebono Ceramics. EBC Green they are not, but they seem to have great stopping power and they're very quiet. I'm on my original set of brakes (26k, no surprises there) but I plan to give Akes a go. Soon. They work excellently on the newer Jags, which eat brakes for lunch. More expensive than OEM but worth it.
