Jim's Burger Haven Dates?...When should we plan the next one?

I am feeling all giddy with the warmer weather, just washed and vacuumed my daily driver and had a craving for Jim's burgers.

Just wanted to throw out the idea of another GTG over lunch on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

What works for everyone in the next 2-3 weeks?

I doubt I will have the MINI interior done, but I can still drive it as it is, gutted and all

Ok, after chatting with Shellbell, we have decided on Wednesday, March 5th, meeting between 11am and 1130am as at noon, they are swamped and it takes forever to get burgers. Shelly is going to try to bring a clubman up, so hopefully she can make that happen

Wednesday, March 5th, 11-1130am meeting time.
Jim's Burger Haven

Arvada, CO 80003

That works. Lunch on Wed., then scooter goes down to Schomp on the 6th for an oil change and a little tlc.

Perhaps I will get a Clubman for my loaner.

I will pencil Jim's into my Calendar so I don't forget or get sidetracked.

I've got it pencil'd in for Wed. I have training in the morning which is scheduled to go through to 12, but I'm betting it will be out early. Hopefully my PM will remain free. I'm looking forward to see you all there.

Never been, would love to go, but I usually am so busy at work that I rarely have time to eat lunch in. Lunch out is pretty impossible... besides, I work in the Meridian business park area - it's too far away to get away for lunch.

I hear ya; Jims is just too darn far for those of us who work South of Denver. If you guys planned it on a weekend I'm sure you'd get a much better turnout.

I don't think there's anywhere like Jims on the south end, but if there's any other good spot maybe we can arrange for a Southern lunch event sometime.

well, I work every weekend, have done so for 9 years...so I can only do a week day GTG...so I occasionally plan these lunches. I Live in Parker, but have a TON of car buddies that still live and work on the north side of town, so I plan these to GTG with them...and always want the MINI crowd there.

I will leave it up to you all to plan weekend burgers, but in a different thread

Good reminder, I think I will go with the small cheese and stay away from the green chili side.

I will be there around 11am or so, and Jon, Minidamoocher, will be joining me as we are working on his stripes in the am.

There are some Audi guys coming, one owns an RS4, and possibly Brian, owner of Avalon Motorsports http://www.avalonmotorsports.com/ He does not do anything MINI related, but he is a great guy. Maybe we can sway him to become a MINI performance tuner as we are lacking consistent support here in Colorado.

haha...it is fitting, as that is how I feel when I get there

just FYI...from the other local club I spend time with, we are looking at 10-12 others so far that are joining us....may be more as it is still a week away. Not bad for a week day GTG lunch. Then count in the MINI folks... . I think we are gonna be out numbered by a few, Audis:MINI ratio that is.

Hope to see y'all there. We just got about 8" of the white stuff here (I'm right near Wondervu) so I may not have MR MINI with me. Got three days of rides in last week tho!!
