Suspension "Thrust" Links?
"Thrust" Links?
A search didn't turn up anything of use...
This term was quoted to us by a local MINI tech as being something to look at when doing front suspension work.
However, a look through RealOEM.com turned up nothing...
Is this another term for the sway bar links?

Hey Ian,
I think your tech is confusing the MINI suspension with some BMW suspensions that have a "thrust arm".
I just asked one of my techs here, and we both agreed that there is nothing under the MINI front(or rear) suspension that would resemble that term.

A google search makes it seem like it's an aircraft term rather than a car term.
Maybe he meant engine dampers?
A thrust link is the brace that you can see on on the top of the right side here. I'm not sure what you would call a thrust link in a car.
