My car is an 04 with a build date of 11/03.I looked under my car to find that my hangers "the ones in the back I could see" face front to rear.I also noticed that the hangers closest to the rear wheels are bolted to the car & can be removed.The ones closest to the battery box are welded in place.

The reason I ask is I am swapping out my Dinan exhaust for the Invidia one but I want to make sure I am ordering the rigth one.

Do I have the old design or new design?

you have 02-04 hangers

 

I'm pretty certain that you have the "old" 02-04 hanger design. If you want to make sure (and please do), then the difference is this: on the old hangers, all four of the metal hangers on the exhaust are parallel. They all go left-right. (or as you described, the hangers on the car go front-rear.) On the newer 05-06 design, one set of the hangers goes the other way. They're bent 90* from the older design.
