Hi all, just wanted to give the heads-up on the sale going on over at minicooperparts.com. They are getting rid of their inventory for below cost! I have nothing to do with them, I just saw something on the main page of this site in the vendor announcements section. I just ordered the glovebox organizer for $12 with no shipping charge! I've seen it for $30 elsewhere. They have lots of other stuff there that I was thinking about going for eventually, but I don't think I can pass some of it up now at the prices they're showing.

Joe

WOW, thanks for the heads up! I just ordered a glovebox organizer as well, and a skid plate for $65 - free shipping on that, too!

They also have the Moss air intake for $55, which is less than half of retail. If I didn't already have one, I'd be all over that.

I think you may be right, ZAKdog, although they don't point it out on their site. I think that CVT drivers are fairly limited when it comes to the intake market. I know nothing about intakes for the S, or whether this one would fit.

By the way, here's their site, to save people a few clicks.

You're welcome, chris. Thanks for posting the link, I didn't think to do that. I actually wasn't sure if it was ok to post about this here, but I figured that if they are one of the sponsors of this site, the moderators would be ok with it.

I for one would have missed it if you hadn't posted. I almost never check out the Vendor Announcement forum unless someone points something out there.

From looking at the
Moss MINI Site, the intake is definitely only for the 5 speed Cooper.

But that is a great price! $134 for the red intake on Moss, $65 on sale at minicooperparts.com!

OR, check out this deal: All of the chrome bezel accents: $850 on Moss MINI, $400 on minicooperparts.com!

Some things are reduced but some are not. The shorty antennae was about $35 and much less at Rspeed and the car cover was $185 which is no bargain.
Also some parts fit MC and not MCS so be careful, it doesn't always say if it fits or doesn't.

No, you're right. They're not on the site anymore. I already got an e-mail saying that mine shipped, so they must have sold out already! Better jump on that other stuff, everyone! Since they're clearing everything out, I guess they probably don't have oodles of inventory.

I'm thinking of getting the Rally lights. Are these OEM ? Do they really work in conjuction with the high beams (ie: NOT with High beams)

Rally lights work WITH highbeams b/c you can only have 6 lights on at once. So normal headlights, parking lights and fogs are six. High beams, parking lights and rallys would also be six (notice fog lights go off when you turn high beams on).

Thanks Greatgro.

I had a brain cramp. I meant to say Fog lights, not High beams. Ooops !

Do anyone have any experience with these lights. Are they difficult to install?
