Hot Pocket (to turn that space under your heating controls, in front of the shifter, into useable storage space) and the glove box organizer. I seriously don't know how I lived without either of them. Think MOSS sells the glove box organizer and TVA sells the Hot Pocket.

Using denatured alchohol to remove the sunvisor airbag warnings is also good. On that note, WD-40/Goo-Off is great for getting the sticky film off your trim above the glove box after you remove the airbag sticker.

It's an OEM MINI part and is standard everywhere else in the world but the US.

Glovebox organizer is my personal fave. No bling, just function. You don't want stuff rattling/flying around when you hit those corners!

1. A "LightInSight" - probably the best $12.50 accessory you can find - helps you see redlights without craning your neck:
LightInSight Web Page

2. Glove box organizer

3. Cocomat floormats - the durability and slop-handling of rubber mats, only they are much better looking, IMHO:
www.cocomats.com

4. Visor CD holder.

5. Cell phone bracket/cradle from Proclip USA:
www.proclipusa.com

That's all I've done with my interieor so far.

I installed the parcel shelf last night, and its awesome! Also have the sunshade which cuts the temp in the car down by like 20 degrees in the sun. Also the rubber mats are great...fits tight so nothing gets on your carpet floor. didnt get the glovebox organizer because I like to use the climate control in the glovebox. The saddlebags also add some much need space. I keep my owners manual, rally light caps and tire gauge in them.

I would probably say the glovebox organizer, some mats, and anything you could probably think of for organization/storage/quick dusting puropses. Speaking of which, Target has some nice dashboard dusters and other various quuick interior touch up things for those of us who are slightly more OCD than the others. Well... of course, once you get the useful mods, go for a Whalen shift ***. Makes me envious of those manual tranny people... shame I'll be getting a CVT b/c I don't want to deal with shifting in ATL traffic. Bah.

Glovebox org is mandatory.... otherwise the GBox is unuseable. Console org is great too.

Parcel shelf rocks and works especially well if you want to install the Aux audio jack outside the glove box.

Did a center arm rest but not sure I'd recomend it.

The "Boot Box" organizer is pretty cool keeps my brief case and shopping bags from moving around back there.

Just installed a Whalen shift machine! Way better than the OE shift **** in looks, feel and shift performance (the weight of the **** really makes a difference).

Ant,
Is the sunshade you speak of the thingy that fits in the windshield? Is it the rigid one or the other? Also, any tips on what to use the glovebox climate control for? I can't think of anything, so I shut it off. Maybe I won't ever have a use, but I'm always open to new ideas.

as everyone else has said, gotta get the glove box organizer and/or the hot pocket. Those 2 mods added at least 3HP to my MINI from keeping all my crap from flying all over the place.

Something else that you might want to look into is window tinting. That is the best mod I have done yet. Looks sharp and helps with the greenhouse effect a bit.

I don't know if he can still get the toggle rack, but you could order it from Mickthemini on MINI2.COM. It was a little over $100 bucks if I remember. He is in the UK and shipped it from there. It arrived here amazingly fast after I ordered it.

Classic (sponsor here) may be able to order the part for you. There are two versions of the full toggle. One has DSC. The other has the traction control. Sorry, I don't know the part numbers.

Install is fairly straightforward. Requires removal of the downtubes, loosening of the dash, and then it's a simple swap.

    See ya,
    JS
