I just wanted to start a thread for those interested in volunteering to help run various events. Perhaps this thread could be used by co-ordinators looking for help. If not, or it seems redundant, just delete it.
I've already PMmed Mark and offered my time to help in organizing/running a proposed info booth for this year's Dragon.
So if you'd like to help out in making all the events run smoothly, here's a place to sign up.
Please remember, tho'...if you make a commitment to help, please follow through. I know it's early yet, and life is what happens while you're making plans, but still. I can make this kind of offer as this will be my 6th Dragon and therefor have some knowledge of the need for volunteers, and I've done most of the drives in the area...

 

This will be my second MOTD. My first was made much more enjoyable by the friends I made preparing for and leading one of the day drives.

I can't say enough good things about giving some of your time to make everyone's event a better one! This is a grass-roots event and the participants are the ones that make it all happen. Voluenteering pays back much more than you put into it.

I helped last year and it was a lot of fun. I can do it again this year I know where to go and who to contact but e-mail me or pm me if you need anythig.
