My wife and I have been planning a vacation in the MCS from central Cal. up through Or., Wa., and the San Juan Islands. We've been planning for weeks, and I've made all the reservations. We leaving July 26, and returning Aug. 9. We'll be passing through Victoria Aug. 8, and heading back to the mainland Aug. 10.
If I'd known, I would have pushed everything out by a week! I don't want to reschedule everything, and I'm sure it will be a great trip, but if I'd only known... darn.

For those of you wondering about the time warp described above. We'll be passing through Victoria on Aug. 4th (day 8 of our trip), and heading back to the mainland Aug. 6th (day 10 of the trip), and home on Aug. 9.

Beautiful drive. Did the same last July. On your southward return try either the west coast of Washington state or south 101 from Port Townsend. When you cross the Columbia river at Longview, go via the coast route.

Well, MiniMeet West was a great time. About 125 cars, including 14 new MINI's. Everyone was very welcoming and the event was very well run. At least here on the west coast, the mini folks get along.

I also attended MMW and had an awesome time. Everyone was very friendly. Next years event will be East meets West and will be held in Rockford, IL. The dates are June 29 through July 1 I do believe. It is too bad we did not get more participation from Washington State. Perhaps next year we will make a better showing.

I could be wrong on this - but I believe you can upload them to the Gallery here and the post them from their? Somebody else may correct me. I know you can't do it from your hard drive. We host ours on a different site and them you hit the "Image" button just below here and then walla - there they are... :smile: :smile: :smile:
