We had about 5 Mini's here last year. I took 2nd place. This is a great Car Show. I will be in Vegas but some of you might want to attend this.
The Tega Cay S.C. Lions invite you back to our 2nd Annual Car Show at the Knights Stadium just south of the NC/SC border (I-77, exit 88 on Saturday March 29th. This major fund raiser benefits the Lion's Scholarship fund and other Lion charities. Contributions are tax deductible. Gates open at 8AM

It was a lot of fun last year. Since I'm sure not going to get enough time off for Vegas, I'm going to plan on going. Anyone else???

Anna, I told you this would turn in to a full time event, you young kids just don't listen!!! Hope you can make this one cause somebody needs to keep the Doc straight!! Every couple minutes check his beer cooler O.K.!!!! If it is a warm day as last year it seems to get empty quickly. Luke

 

I know! I am going to try my hardest to make this one! They will just have to find osmeone else to decorate cakes that day so I can hang out with my MINI peeps! As I have said, there are only 5 MINI's here and not one of them waves, so I will have to work harder to unite them!

 

The Mini that I was up against in a car show in Wilmington belonged to a young Marine, it was dark silver rear end full of big speakers and engine all juiced up and dirtest Mini I ever saw, with the baldest tires. At first I thought they were racing slicks. He said he did alot of street racing down there. Card them Mini's for us and maybe they will speak. Oh yea, they have more classes, this time so maybe you won't be up against anything small like we were last year. The Lion's guy told m this was there 1st attempt and they were not really sure how to do it, and they surely didn't expect a couple hundred cars to show up with alot of bikes. Hopefully some of our club members will do well. Wish you all the best of Luck with the J O B AND CAR SHOW! The trophies last year were great and they will probably have some neat ones this year. Talked to someone again yesterday and they are going to have some real nice trophies and thinking about extending the classes. They want this to be one of the best shows around and are striving to get it where there is no politics involved. If we have enough Mini's pre-register they may be in a class of their own. You all sign up and keep Doc and Anna company. I sure hate to miss this one but Vegas is calling.

 

I will try and make this one as well.

This seems like it would be fun. Maybe I can talk Terri into coming down for this one. I remember you all saying how much fun it was last year. I will plan to come if work doesn't have other ideas.

They now have enough MINI's to have our own awards class

 

Just found out today we have enough MINI's to be in our own class, so that will mean alot. Last year we were up against everything with 4 and 6 cylinders. You guys need to sign up for this one and bring M2c2 some Trophies home. I really wanted to do this one again, but Vegas is calling, so you guys go out and kick some butt! Last year was the first year and they had over 300 cars and 100 motorcycles., This is going to be a big event in the future and hope the MINI community gets behind it. Luke

Running my first 8K that day, that is if I survive tomorrow morning's 5K. ;-)

 

Mid night Dave, I did, o.k., I was over at the good doctor's yesterday out singing in the rain and he thought I needed a change. You got me! Be sure to drink lots of water we don;t want you overheating and run fast. I watch all the races and everyone is just trotting along. Run like you stole something and you will get there way ahead of the rest.

WE HAD 6 OR 7 MINI'S BUT WERE UP AGAINST EVERYONE. WE DID TAKE 1 TROPHIE FOR 2ND PLACE IN THE MILD TO WILD CLASS. THIS YEAR WE WON'T BE COMPETING AGAINST EVERYONE. LIKE TO SEE A DOZEN OR MORE MINI'S OUT THERE. GO KEEP DOC AND ANNA COMPANY AND OUT OF TROUBLE.

I had a great time today!!! It was alot of fun.. Our club rawks... at any event and this one was no exception..
Floyd, Sharon, Charles, Bruce, Doc, David and I showed our cars.. Doc had his clubman and his S.. and His bmw.. we had a total of 7 minis. Sharon and Floyd had cooper and riley with them.. thank good ness.. it was so cold.. it was nice to have some puppies to cuddle up with..
Congratulations to Doc! for his 1st place with his cooper S!!!!! And he took 2nd in the European class for his bmw!!!! Sharon looked hot driving that one back to Doc's house. We got to meet his herd of puppies, and even see his goats!
Congratulations to David who won runner up with his 08 Cooper, Snoopy!!
This was a great prelim to next week end at Lowe's!!
Can't wait to see everyone!!
And no.. no police were involved in any way.. but there again Trace wasn't there
