Excuse the questions but a search was proving futile.

1. I see some MCS's with the black grille and trim pieces (surounds). Is this an option or aftermarket pieces? Does this only come with a package?

2. I love the looks of the factory aero kit, especially the painted rockers. But I won't pay the huge $$$ for the kit. Can similar rockers (only) be gotten after market? I am looking for experiences others may have had.

Black grilles and such are available as aftermarket parts (see some of the sponsor links on here) only. As far as I know, they are not a build option.

As for your 2nd question...there are a number of aftermarket aero kits available. Again, look at the sponsors. There are non-sponsors selling these kinds of things too, but why not buy from people who are supporting the MINI community?
