1 strut or 2?

I need a strut. Why cant I just get the one i need. Its not like brakes where they run off the same line. It has independent suspension. So what if one is a little newer the the other.

That is a tough call. If it were me I would do both at the same time. If you are having it done as warranty work or doing it yourself then I would say just one. If you must take it into a shop or pay the dealer to do the work you may be better doing both as long as it is in the shop.

My $.02 and I am sure that I could be wrong.
