Red Painted Arches

Ok folks, if my car was silver or pepper white, my arches would have been painted already, but as the case may be, i ended up with a solar red/silver car. I have the aero kit, but its not installed yet, except the front bumper anyway, but i have 2 front bumpers anyway, long story. Anyway, i would like some pictures and opinions on painted the arches on my car. I cant decide. I ve never seen one in person with painted arches before, so it really makes it hard to tell. I would like as many Red painted arch pictures as i can muster, even tho my car isnt chilie red, it will have to be close enough, unless someone actually has a painted arch solar red out there???? Thirt13een, my comp loaded with shots of your car, but feel free to post some more, hahah.

My dad thought maybe paint the arches silver to match the roof, and the though had crossed my mind, but thinking back to a CR/W car on mini2 with white arches, i think thats just too much.

What do you guys think. I know its hot on silver and white, but cant decide on red or not. If i do it, i would just paint my other front bumper and hang the one with the black on my wall. hahahah. I might also Joey mod if i paint the arches

Thanks alot, i need your help

I'm not a big fan of body colored arches, it makes the car look kind of bulky in my opinion. But your dad's idea of painting them silver to match your roof actually sounds kind of cool.

Although I certainly appreciate everyones opinion, I don't think painted arches make the Mini look bulky at all.

I love painted arches personally. If i could only find a way to get it done for less than the usual cost, i would have been all over it on day one. Its just so expensive

IMO, it gives it a much more sleek look rather than having random black panels. Its a totally different profile to the car when i look at them, and bulky def does not come to my mind, i see it as more smooth and fluid.

You might also consider getting the arches smoothed, and painted shinny black.

That is a great look to. One of our club members had a custom paint job done with gloss black arches.
