My mini needs an alignment after hitting big dip in the road. I'm over the 2000 mark for free alignments and since the nearest dealer is 2 hours away, can someone recommend a place that they would trust an alignment in the Austin area? I really don't feel comfortable taking it to chain store auto place.

Cant answer that question, but I will tell you that you better have the alignment specs for the R56 yourself as most shops do not have that data yet. Do a search here, I remember someone has posted them in the past..

 

If you don't mind paying a bit more, go to Soulspeed on Lamar and Masterton (just a bit north of 183). They can align it to whatever specs you want, and have a good history of doing a lot of the autox and race cars in town.

 

Another guy said to go there as well- so it must be the place to go

 

I second, getting the specs first and finding out if they can even do the alignment. I had several here in San Antonio saying that they couldn't do the alignment due to lack of specs.
