I have a2002 MCS and the sunroof screen has now broken twice. It was repaired the first time which left a rattling noise until it broke just today. The trunk will not close. The electric opening defice doesn't fire and it will not latch. So my hatch is just sitting there. Anyone else having similar problems.

 

I don't know if this could be part of your problem, but when I had my remote set to pop the boot, it never worked right. I eventually discovered (on my own) that you have to unlock the boot (hit unlock twice) before you hold to pop it. I wonder if the boot is locked and you try to close it if it might not like that?
Other than that, sorry, I can't be much help. No sunroof in Alice.

 

A couple of months ago my boot latch broke. The service dept. just replaced it under warranty and I haven't had any problems since. :smile:
