I REALLY want to go to AMVIV this year and have MY MINI there for all the drives!

However, I live here in Houston, TX, the drive straight to Vegas from Houston right before the event isn't doable for me. It would consume too many vacation days during the week from my allocation this year.

With that said, I have a big favor to ask of someone in Denver that needs away to get out to Vegas! Well, at least one way, maybe round trip to vegas.

I am planning to drive my MINI to Denver, CO the weekend of March 14th. Jsouz has offered a warm and dry place to keep my MINI, Jessica!

The driver needs to be someone that Jsouz knows from 5280 who he can vouch for. I have faith in Jsouz's opinion.

Here is the scoop:

• 2006 Pepper White Convertible MSC, with the factory JCW option. $32k miles
• All four tires will be replaced prior to driving up from Houston to Denver.
• Gas money to make the trip from Denver to Vegas
• Use of my radar detector (Valentine One)
• Wind deflector, helps a lot with the wind back draft.
• Have an IPOD dock connection
• Wheel locks
• Road Side Assistance
• MINI Alarm System
• Navigation System

Just a few stipulations:

1. Must be part of a 5280 caravan
2. Must know how to drive a 6 speed manual (No learning on this MINI please)
3. Moving / parking violations, your responsibility
4. Treat my MINI like it was the only one left on the planet with no hope of replacements ever being made.
5. Cell phone so you can call me every 200 miles to let me know my MINI is fine (I'm JUST KIDDING about this one!)
6. Premium fuel, write the mileage down on the receipt and save the receipts. This is my own system I do every fill up.
7. Be careful of parking to avoid door dings or curbing (I've already curbed twice :( ).
8. Be at least 21 yoa
9. No smoking in this MINI, even with the top down.
10. I need to meet you in person when I bring the car to Denver, would like a photo copy of your driver license. Proof of insurance would be nice but not a major issue if you are over 25 years of age. I have insurance.

I think that about covers it, hopefully this is something someone would be interested in doing. My MINI is a joy to drive, and if you are thinking about going out but you were dreading being the co-pilot here is a chance to do some fun driving!

I will probably have a small bag with clothes and stuff, and another small container with car cleaning products for Vegas in the boot, other than that plenty of room for your stuff in the boot, back seat and front seat.

I will fly into Vegas the evening of March 26th!

I will be driving back with the 5280 group on Sunday.

If there is anything I'm leaving out, we can discuss.

ya know, I had trouble keeping up with Shelly when we drove the Western Dragon this past summer....she is a mad woman behind the wheel...







Just Kidding. Shelly would the perfect person to baby a car, she does it all the time as she drives them from the dealership on events!!!

But looks like you won't get there fast enough to pick me up at the airport on Wed. night. I'll catch the hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel.

I'm not sure on the going back to Denver from Vegas. I'll let you know in the next few days what I want to do.
