Another iPod thread (with a twist!)

So i've got a brand new 3g ipod nano (the newest small fat one with video).
I have the factory nav in my 05 mcc.
I bought the $50 cable from apple (hey, apple, screw you for that, the old models' cables cost $5!)
The nano outputs video to the screen and it looks PERFECT. edge to edge, no flicker, no bands, beautiful!

What i want to do is probably impossible, it certainly isn't off the shelf, but maybe y'all can point me in the right directions?

As you know, most people like to control their ipods with their steering wheel controls. This is old hat and has been done many times before.
What's different here, is my ipod's main communication port is now taken up by the connector for the video.

Any ideas on how to cram both the video connector and the control cable into one harness?
Also, will the steering wheel/ipod interface cable work if you have both AUX audio AND the nav package? Is there still room for pins for audio in?
Or should i just use the AUX to get the audio in?

thanks!

Are you using a video interface connected to your Nav module?

You listed a 3rd gen iPod Nano, a Nav system and an Apple cable (all of which I have.) Where are you inserting these to get video on your Nav screen?
