The electric powered mini is going to cost ~65K if memory serves me.

It's sort of lumped together with "hybrids" but it's fully electric (no gas engine). It looks to be very fast, but the range is pretty short. They should call it MINI-Z for ZAP!

I should have read the article a bit better. It's the Smart car that will be selling for 35K. Oh well what's 10K amongst friends .
