Palo Uber lug star tool (where to buy another one cause it broke)
Palo Uber lug star tool (where to buy another one cause it broke)
Ok, I was installing my new TXW springs and placing the first wheel back on, when the damn Palo Uber lug star tool decided it wanted to melt in half. The star tip bascially broke off in the lug.
So, now I am left with 3 stock springs on the car, and no tool to finish the job.
does anyone know if you can find these anywhere like a auto parts store or do I need to buy a new one from Palo Uber?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Bring one of your lugs to a tire store like Discount Tire or Firestone. I've found that they have a variety of lug bolt tools for just about any bolts out there, so they don't have to rely on the owner to have theirs. Perhaps they'll loan you theirs if you leave a deposit, and you can use it to get your wheels back on.
It's the same tool as here...

See post #2.
And broke the exact same way. I think I will take it to Discount Tire tomorrow and see if they can get them off. I will be replacing the lugs with something else. After seeing others with this problem, I won't be using these anymore.
