Detroit Tuned Bypass Valve? any good??

MC2 magazine has a tech article about DT's Bypass Valve. Are any of you Guy/Gals using one? I want to get rid of the low RPM stumble that we "S" owners have. DT claims that their unit eliminates the stumble we get leaving from a dead stop. Is it true? What solution's have any of you come up with? Ignition wires, chip....er what?
