Hey congrats on getting your new S. I'm still waiting for mine. If I could become your friend, would you let me drive it?

Hey, very glad to hear about another happy member. I bet you're real excited. The wait is tough; I'm still waiting for mine. But drive her like you stole her. I'm also fairly new to driving stick, and here's one advice for starting from first gear. Let out the clutch until it's halfway or almost to the point of stalling. Then hold it there and apply the gas. once on the gas and you're starting to move, then let go of the clutch. Works for a novice like me right now. And Congrats!!!

Good Luck with your new Mini!!

Need help with the clutch? It's never too early to sign up for driving (racing) school. No better way then to learn from the pros. They can also keep you from picking up bad clutch habits.

There's no better thrill than going racing.

"She do be the prettiest, she do be that." -Angelina Jolie from the film "GIA"

Congrats Girl! She's gorgeous, aren't you glad you went with your favorite MCS color. You must be so excited...good for you.

I'm sure you did feel the same as I did when Junior came home. Now you just have to practice some more on the shifting. Take it easy for a few days until you get a hang of it. Avoid the hills for now.

Now it's time for your first mods-let us know.

CONGRATS NOMONSTER!:D

It must be a relief to finally have your baby come in. Nice Lapis! Stay relaxed when driving. When I first picked up THUMPER, it was my 1st time driving stick on the freeway IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC, what a drag. You'll get the hang of it driving it everyday.

Well, she looks beautiful, are you going to make any custom furniture for the interior?
Please do, maybe you could make some extra money doing so.

Congrats again, and have lots of fun. Your life is about to change... seriously.

Your baby (MINI) pictures are wonderful. Kudos to the photographer.
The look you have is perfect. No scratches or dents are allowed for at least 12 months. Set your forcefield for stun if anything or anyone gets closer than breathing distance.
The EB/W with premium/sports/lapis leather options is perfect. Those NY state plates are matching and very nice. Coming from Hawaii we don't see them much- it's a rather long summer drive.
If the car is new- how did you get plates so fast? I had to wait about 5-6 weeks for mine.
Maybe it was sent to me by slow boat. Either that or someone named Rip Van Winkle fell asleep filling out the state form for me. ZZZZZZZZZZZ
