I configurated at least a cogillion MINI's each one with chromeline. Then I bought a MINI without chromeline. Have any of you brave souls purchased an aftermarket kit and replaced the interior ring and such?

 

I did not get the chrome interior line in my mini. But now that I have it and drive it everyday, I'm kind of wishing I had. I have not yet had time or money to get the parts and replace everything myself (or taking it to the dealer and have them do it for who knows how much $$$).
Would be curious to hear from anyone who HAS done the after the fact replacement tho.

 

If anyone purchased the chromeline exterior and then decided to buy the body kit and wants to sell parts, I would be interested in buying the bottom chrome grill surround.

 

This was covered in another string, and I believe the final call was that the swap was pretty complex/difficult. You don't just slap those rings on. I did chromeline, because even though it is in reality PLASTIC, it has a metal chrome look that focuses the eyes OFF the plastic in the car, giving a solid accent to the interior. See my gallery.
